Sky box says it's connected to Sky Q but the screen just says: WAITING FOR TV SCHEDULE and this doesn't change. We have pressed the up/down arrows on all sky machines and it didn't work. We also turned off the sky box that is displaying this message and then back on again and still not working.

Hi @ALON1
If you haven't already you need to reboot the main Q box.
To reboot press Standby on your Sky Q remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your Sky Q remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the Q box (Amber led)
note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.

I have had continuous issues with my sky q box since it was installed. I have too continuously reboot and now the recording, pause rewind is not working. Wish I'd staying with the old box. The thoughts of having to call Sky and on hold for ages is not appealing either.

Hey,
Did you find a solution to this? Mine has done the same, reset the box.. nothing is working including the TV remote, so I not can't reset it 🥴
