My Sky Q box got a message saying there was a problem with recordings/on demand etc. Satellite signal was fine & I could still view live tv (but nothing else.)
Today received replacement box, but unable to set up fully as no satellite signal. Cables (2) are all as they were on old box, fully tightened etc.
I can set up broadband connection, but that is all.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreEither the box is faulty. Or you've inadvertently compromised the cable connectors. Or your dish/cables or LNB have suffered damage in the interim. Best give Sky a call.
