Renewal

Sky Q customer of 22 years. I have the full package and broadband (see photos). I pay £151.52 a month but discounts start dropping as of tomorrow and contract is up end of July.

Contacted Sky over the course of the last week 4 times now, speaking directly to te retentions team. Best offer being £148.

What we thinking, in the current climate for what I'm getting on that package, is that about the going rate these days?

Would I be in a better position nearer to my contract end to haggle? It would however mean a month of paying full prices without discount.

Appreciate any input.

Thanks.

You've got the full works tbh, hard to say,  but I would say the broadband is what I'd be  looking at, that seems high imo, for what you are getting. Might be worth trying again.

Re: Renewal

Yeah I just didn't know if that was pretty much what we get now for the works. Each person I've spoken to are adamant I'll not get it cheaper and even the usual threat of cancelling didn't budge them. They even offered the cancellation for me ha.

I'll maybe give it one final fo to see if they can reduce the broadband.

Wasn't sure if it makes any difference to maybe wait until the contract is up?

Thanks

Re: Renewal

@josejdennis

The broadband is extremely over-priced. If I were you I'd switch broadband to a different supplier and cancel Q. Once it gets switched off call them and ask for the winback team. They have access to the best deals and can offer deals that other departments cannot. If you choose to accept what they offer they can switch your service back on within minutes.

@josejdennispersonally I'd probably wait till

you are a little nearer to the majority of contracted prices are ending, get some quotes and perhaps try nearer the time.
