@Murf21
After checking the basics, ie; fresh batteries, re-pairing etc if your Sky Q remote is definitely broken/faulty, if you follow this link it should allow you to do some more troubleshooting and then it’ll send you to a form to request a replacement (I’m not sure if this is available to customers in the Republic of Ireland).

It may be quicker to purchase a new remote from a retailer / larger supermarket. If you do that as well as the above you’ll have a spare.

In the meantime if you have an android or Apple device with Sky Go you can possibly set up a virtual remote to control your Sky Q box. See this link which may help

Re: Remote

@Daniel0210

Sorry for jumping on @Murf21 post. Do you know if you need to send the broken remote back if you request a new one?

I've looked at the form and my issues don't match any of the ones listed (voice control isn't working / touch pad isn't working / touchpad is too sensitive / sky q remote won't control my sky q or sky mini box / my dvd player isn't responding to my sky remote).

Basically the remote has been dropped, it still works but the case is broken.

If they don't request it back then i'd just pick the first option as don't suppose it really matters?

@MattStyles

I've not heard of Sky requesting the return of a faulty or broken remote to just throw (some of it) in a bin for recycling.
