Two days ago our Sky Q remote stopped working properly in that it no longer controlled the power, volume or left/right and OK buttons. We shave now received a new remote, but it is having the same problems.
We have tried resetting it by pressing 7 and 9 together, and then pressing 1 and 3 together to pair remote to TV, but nothing happens when we press 1 and 3 together: we don't get the blue screen as shown in the instructions on the website.
The Sky Q box responds to pressing the front button: it changes from amber to green and vice versa.
The help instructions on the website don't tell you what to do if pressing 1 and 3 doesn't work!!
Can anyone suggest what to do or how to speak to someone at Sky to fix this? Thank you!

Hi @Geranium
Q box must be on and you must make sure that you are pointing the remote directly at the Q box sensor when you press and hold 1 & 3 together.
Sometimes you will get the failure to pair but all you can do is keep trying.
It may sometimes help if you go to the Q box Home - Settings - Setup - Remote control to set up the remote
