Remote control issue
I purchased a replacement remote control, for use with sky q mini box, it worked straight away controlling the sky q interface etc, however it won't pair successfully when using the 1&3 button method, I have tried the 7&9 method also for reference.. it shows an unsuccessful error message when trying to pair, therefore I cannot change volume or put tv into standby. The odd part is it will pair without issue on the main box downstairs. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi @MagicHat To pair a Sky Q remote to a TV, you can do the following:
Turn on the TV and Sky Q box.
Press the Home button on the remote.
Navigate to Settings > Setup > Remote Control.
Select the remote model.
Select Control your TV.
Select Find it for me to identify the TV brand.
Select the first letter of the TV brand.
Select Find it for me to find the model number.
Enter the numeric code that appears on the TV.
Test the connection by adjusting the volume.
If the remote doesn't pair, you can try resetting it. To reset a Sky Q remote, press and hold the 7 and 9 buttons until the LED blinks four times.

Re: Remote control issue
Thank you for all the advice, unfortunately none of that works, it never gets to the point on the mini box where it even gets to the tv make and model screen.

@MagicHat Have you tried rebooting your mini Q box ie
putting your box into Standby then switching it off at the wall for 30 seconds
switch it back on then follow the on screen instructions
then
Try resetting your remote.
Press the buttons 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then press 1 & 3 together until the led flashes twice then follow onscreen instructions to repair the remote.
