Reducing/down grading package

Does anyone know if I can down grade tv package to the bare minimum and still get channels like discovery, history, geographical etc? 
I've been looking at other options like now tv & Amazon fire stick etc however it's all abit like going round in circles. Any advice greatly received

@ClM82 the minimum package with Sky that would still allow you to have these channels is Sky Signature package


I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer
