Thank you for your reply. it's been like it for around a week or so. I've rebooted and it's not made any difference.
Fingers crossed it clears soon x

Mine is still the same getting annoyed now.

Suddenly my SKY Q recorded programs are missing the thumbnail picture for each recording.
The recording title is there in the thumbnail box, but no, or only a couple of pictures out of probably 60 recordings.

Turn off both Sky Q and TV at plug sockets and wait one minute. Turn both back on and using SKY Q REMOTE (Not Tv Remote) turn on TV and SKY Q BOX and go to SETTINGS Via the Home button.
Check to see if you have a Network Connection which should show a ✔️ If no ✔️ then go to Network Setup and follow instructions to reset your router connection.
Drop down list offers different connections, choose how your router is connected to your Sky Q.
Re enter your Router Password and that should solve the problem and all your Thumbnails and program stacks should appear.
When I checked originally for WiFi connection to my LG OLED using my TV remote it said I had a WiFi connection, but the SKY Q Box wasn't picking up the connection, but using the SKY Q REMOTE it showed there was no WIFI connection? It also said on Home screen that there was no connection to internet every time I turned on TV.
So try the above and remember, USE THE SKY Q REMOTE TO RESET YOUR NETWORK CONNECTION.
It worked for me after trying everything else.
And the on screen message about no internet connection vanished and Recordings thumbnails re appeared.
Good luck 👍

Thank you so much for the advice to switch off and reset via sky remote . I've tried this but unfortunately it still hasn't cleared. I checked and I had a full network connection and this didn't seem to be the problem 🫤
Still not sure why this won't clear or what started it in the first place!!
Any other ideas welcomed!!

Posted by a Sky employeeHi all!
How frustrating, to get this looked at could you please send me examples including the content name, the series number and episode number, and any images always help 😊

hi. My recordings went wrong from New Year's Day. They appeared with no thumbnail picture and series links were shown separately. In the photo the earliest program recorded without a thumbnail is the big fat quiz and the Sherlock program was on series link. I could watch the programs and have deleted those but if you need more example I can undelete them if required. On 9th January my settings reverted back to normal. I had done no reboots or any other checks. I hope this helps you resolve this issue for the others as it is very frustrating. Thank you

Hi Chloe,
Unfortunately I am unable to attach a photo of the recording page. An example of this is the last 3 7/7 bombing episodes all recorded separately and have individual blank thumbnails.
All soaps are also recording separately too. Most recordings have no images on thumbnails anymore.
This started on 29th December and hasn't cleared despite reboots.
Also each recording no longer shows me what other episodes are available and what is in this week.
I hope that helps?
Jo

hi Chloe,
as you can see murder in the valleys didn't record as a series (unlike Lockerbie)
and you can see there are lots of shows without the thumbnail image.
Hope this helps to get things sorted

I am experiencing this issue also. Thumbnails show for downloaded programs only, not anything recorded. Very annoying

I've turned on the TV this morning and mine has cleared and is back to how it was before New Year!
It's showing pictured thumbnails and links the recordings again. I didn't do anything to it yesterday so unsure what changed!
But it does give a bit of hope that everyone's will eventually revert to being 'normal' again.

Brilliant news. It's returned to normal just like mine did, let's hope the others do as well.

Mine is still the same 😕
