Recording won’t play

It's not letting me play any of my recordings if this is not sorted today I'm going to cancel my direct debit as sky is rubbish I'm not paying for a service I can't use

Cancelling your payment method is definitely not recommended and it will cause you additional problems. Your services will be restricted, you won't be able to call Sky, you wont be able to cancel, late payment fees will be added and eventually Sky could involve a debt recovery company which may affect your credit rating.

 

Whats happening when you try to view a recording?

You can't make that demand to other customers.  As noted, cancelling your DD isn't a great way to resolve this.

 

Have you tried a power cycle of the box?

 

If the hard drive has failed then you'll need a replacement box.  (Which won't be delivered today)

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
