Recording A Channel 5 programme. I keep seeing a message telling me to upgrade.

Do you have the HD add on &, if not are you trying to download rather than record live ?

Channel 5 (& I think C4 may be similar)  is a bit of an oddity that  you can watch in HD but can only download in SD unless you have the HD add on
