Reconnecting moved sky mini box to sky q

I have moved sky mini box to a new TV, the Sky Q main box is connected to satellite and internet, mini box is connected to internet but get stuck on step 2 after I press correct button which then flashes on  sky Q. How do I overcome this ?

@Mezebede so its asking you to press the WPS button on you main Q box and you are doing this and nothing happens ? D you get any messages ?

It starts the process on the minio box with flashing light on Q box and orange flashing on mini box but gets stuck on step 2 and says it can't connect. Once it got to step 4 and started to upload the TV schedule but stopped.

@Mezebede is the TV you moved the mini box to closer or further away from the main box than what the mini was before you moved it and who is your broadband with ?

The new TV is further away from main Q box but only about 20m , broadband is BT and fast.

The broadband is irrelevant as the mini connects to the Sky Q box directly via Sky's own WiFi mesh.

That's probably too far from the main Q box.

 

Sky may provide extenders if you call them.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
