Series link

New to Sky Q and I find series link won't record Mondays EastEnders on bbc1. Another series on channel 5 only recorded half a series, the first 3 episodes. 

Also annoying not having bookmarks and sky's response was to record the programme 😂 I said I do record it and you could bookmark something in a recording on sky plus and then he says no plans to add reminders 🙄 I don't want a bleeping reminder

Bookmarks and Reminders have never been part of Sky Q and tbh won't be added now. Did you do any research on Sky Q before changing?

Hi @catwoman1 

Tennis has caused some minor confusion with East Enders series link.

The Link will not hop channels and due to the tennis a link has to be set for both BBC 1 and BBC 2.

Setting a link on both has not missed any Episodes here and the next Mondays Episode is due to be recorded here.

Cannot comment on the Ch 5 issue as nothing set for that channel here.

Good point @oldfella I forgot some programmes may have been shifted due to the tennis. 

@catwoman1 those channel changes will have been implemented by BBC.

Was happening before Wimbledon.

No I didn't do any research it was after I asked to reduce my costs and they offered me a free upgrade with Netflix and at less than I was. I was after being stopping recording clashes

Assume you are aware that with Q series link - only the one next episode is shown as linked in the scheduled section.

When the next Episode starts recording then the subsequent episode will be linked and shown as scheduled.

Of course but series link works Tuesday-Thursday so why not Monday? Not the only programme it recorded 3 episodes of a 6 episode docuseries. Bit annoyed especially as Sky+ put random things on the planner and took things off when it saw fit. Put it down to an old box
