QUESTIONS ABOUT JOINING SKY
HI
I am about to join Sky for broadband and tv but have a couple of questions;
1. Is there an installation cost?
2. Are there any price increases during the contract? Ie if I sign a 24 month contract will the price stay the same?
3. If I wanted to cancel earlier than contract allows what do I do and what are the charges?
I really appreciate your help.
Thanks a lot
J

Re: QUESTIONS ABOUT JOINING SKY
@Jen1234561 to answer your questions
1. No standard installation is included (extra costs may be applied for non standard installations depending on service ordered)
2. prices can increase during the minimum 24 month term
3 the terms and conditions explicitly state you can't cancel during the minimum term unless sky agrees if they do you will be liable for the remaining months of your contract ie monthly subscription x remaining months , you would have to call Sky directly and see if they will accept your cancellation request and give the required notice to cancel (31 days for tv and 14 days for broadband)

Re: QUESTIONS ABOUT JOINING SKY
To answer your questions:
Thete coyld possibly be instaltion costs but this depends on what TV service you order.
There is usually an annual price rise in April of each year so the price you sign up to it not fixed for either the TV or Broadband.
Sky are within their rights to not let you cancel early but if they do you would have to pay the remainder of the contract off.
