It does. But looking at the Sky website, it still says 220 is the latest?

I've already tried to explain to you why that is @Super+Anthony
It will not say Q230.... until the rollout is complete.
The whole point being that people cannot yet manually force an update to Q230...

@oldfella Am confused as @Stephen+Mourton is saying some people have? Apologies if I am missing something

Some have Q23, others are still on Q22. Updates are rolled out gradually. It's always been this way.

You are missing a lot @Super+Anthony
As I have repeatedly said Q230... is gradually being rolled out in batches. Therefore many people have it already. The people (you included) who haven't had the update will get it ultimately when they are included in a future update batch.
There are millions of users.

Get you, thank you @oldfella

Thanks for all that information but it still doesn't explain why I am over a great many years still one of the last to get it?

Who gets it and when is just the luck of the draw @Stephen+Mourton .
To be honest I have no clue how Sky decide who is included in each Batch. Certainly not down to VIP status.

Your not missing out on anything.

I heard it's based on number of times you've fast forwarded past adverts.

If that were true, we'd be 1st in line everytime 😉
I dread the day the dish is gone and we don't record anything anymore and we're back to having to watch adverts (or pay to skip them). Not long to go now I suppose.

Sky has a contract with SES (the satellite owners) through to the end of 2027.

Given the youngest satellite in the Astra 28.2 cluster was launched in 2014, their anticipated end-of-life (around 15 years before positioning propellant is expended) would not be far beyond then.

@AnytimePlus+On+VM Very true and valid. I suspect Q at some stage will be removed. Yes stream looks great but it's important to have both Q and stream to give customers the choice

I knew they should have used Voyager 2
