Q mini box ... stream or dish

Just curious about the signal for a mini box .....

Is the signal (live tv) streamed from the main box's dish signal or are the channels streamed over the Internet ? 

During heavy rain you lose the dish signal to the main box so I guess the mini box's signal will also drop out or is the mini boxed streamed over the Internet

The Live TV channels are via the Satellite into the main box which then acts as Media server to the mini

Hi @brid+dave 

Q minis get all content streamed from main Q box.

So if main box loses signal so does the mini
