Q box is knackered

My Q box has given up the ghost, hardware failure by the looks, tried the update fix but the box just gets stuck on the blue page of doom.  I've ordered a new box, but was wondering if I could use the mini box in some way, or am I going to be with TV till Monday?

Any suggestion woul be well appreciated

A Q Mini box is a client device of the main Q box, and has zero independent functionality.

You can use Sky Go on another device but not the mini unfortunately @Markymate06

If your replacement main box arrives via a 'doorstep box swap' whereby DPD deliver a new box and take your faulty box away, remember to remove the viewing card from the old box before it disappears into the van.

@Markymate06  Also make sure you take the provided power lead & (if relevant) power supply out of the box.

Thanks everyone for your answers. I thought that would be the case with the mini box, but you never know till you ask!!

Got Sky Go on the PC so at least that's something. Did fish out my very old HD+ box from the loft but no go on that.

Fortunately got a couple of good books to read while theres no TV till the new Q arrives😂
