Q BOX BOOSTER

After a trial with Sky Glass I have gone back to Sky Q.  The new router (put in for the Glass) does not connect with the Q box, but it IS connected with phones/laptop in the house.

Talked to Sky and they have upped the wifi to "Max" and sent a booster.

Still no result - have tried the booster in two places both approx halfway between the router and the Q box. Have "booted" the booster and the Q Box., but no diffference.

Any suggestions please?

Re: Q BOX BOOSTER

Hi Laing1

Thank you for your help.

Yes, it is a white router, only 4 weeks old if that's the "new" one?

The booster is a hexagonal thing - an SE411-UK wireless extender.

@GJW76 Im no expert with the new max router as I still have the older reouter but my understanding is that the booster pod should connect automatically to your router but then when trying to connect your main box is treat it as a third party router and connect it using the ssid of the router and the wifi password
