I have been a Sky customer for 15 years I am appalled to the level which Sky has descended to. I have tried unsuccessfully to complain about my Sky box. We are unable to watch most things Sky as we get a message to INSERT VIEWING CARD CHIP UP. The card is already inserted chip up. We are unable to watch some live RL fixtures as sky has a problem broadcasting them. Most of what we can watch has dire coverage with piped music and a team or score sheet. WHAT ARE WE PAYING YOU FOR. WHAT sky PROVIDs IS NO LONGER WORTH WHAT sky CHARGES
This is the second time I have reported the box - so far with no reciprocation from Sky. Disgusted to say the least

I thought i was the only person who had the fault. I just remove and insert the card again.
I think there is a fault on the software not the hardware.
Sounds much more likely to be a fault with either your box or your card.

Re: Poor Customer relations
If you don't think Sky TV is value for money you could potentially cancel.
Sky have been sending out emails and letters regarding the April 2026 annual price increases.
Once yours arrives it contains a number to call if you wish to cancel certain Sky services. You have 30 days to call after receiving the notification. Leaving penalty free only applies to Sky+, Sky Q, and Broadband/Talk.

Making sure it's chip up and nearest to the slot, also push in until it clicks.
"This is the second time I have reported the box - so far with no reciprocation from Sky" I'm not sure what this means @David7310 ?
Not a Sky employee
