You can't remove as it there so that Sky can show age restricted programming before the evening watershed.

If sky put it on, how do I get them to remove it?

Re: Pin request for sky max

PIN on pre-watershed playback

Even if you turn this setting off, you'll still need to enter your PIN if you're watching a Sky Cinema movie, recording or download before its normal watershed time (before 8pm for shows or movies rated 12 or 15, or before 9pm for those rated 18).

Some of Sky's shows on Sky Showcase, Sky Atlantic, Sky Comedy, Sky Documentaries, BBC, Channel 4 and E4 might ask for a PIN during the daytime and in the evening if the broadcaster has deemed it to be of an adult nature.

This is due to Ofcom regulations and can't be disabled.

You can't. Setting your pin to something simple, such as '1111' makes it easy to enter

I am just another Sky customer!

Re: Pin request for sky max

Why can my 5 and 10 year old niece and nephew see adverts for sanitary products and adverts for erectile dysfunction near their dinner time, Ofcom has deemed that ok then? Obviously they have.  I thought it would have been down to their parents.  As I choose to watch the channel, is that not deemed my choice to see whatever is being broadcast?

Hi @Shepherdlst   By lobbying your MP to get the regulations changed.

You are only talking to fellow sky customers here, so that question might be better asked to Ofcom themselves as they make the broadcast rules.

It is a regulation that allows this content to be played before the watershed. Without pin protection, then ofcom would not allow broadcast of these tv programmes.
