Paying to stop adverts on discovery plus i

I upgraded discovery plus from Basic with ads for £4 per month to Standard on the understanding that it will stop ads

Am I wrong?

Hi @GH931   Where are you seeing that upgrade, I cannot see it in my Martetplace. only the free discovery+ Entertainment.

Are you sure you mean Discovery plus ?

Their basic plan is just Entertainment (which does indeed include ads)  & I think their more expennive plans used to include sports that has now moved to TNT Sports a while ago ( & is now via the HBO Max app)

IIRC even paying for the more expensive plan in the past did not guarantee no ads (after they introduced them)

The only plan I can see on their website is the Entertainment plan - which echoes my initial thoughts

 9 of "Discovery+ Top 10 Today" is also on HBO Max

Discovery+ free tier/no account required on other non Sky devices, includes more than you hink , HGTV (via Really), Investigation Discovery (via Quest Red) TLC , Quest and Food Network content

That's correct, Discovery+ doesn't offer an ad-free option.
