I've updated the software but it just won't add the app. I've got it on my Sky Q box and that works fine. Any ideas please?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Foodscary You need to update software version. Go on settings then down to system info. Click the software version a setup icon will appear next to it click on that then update. Box will restart might have to wait few hours for app to appear once it's been updated ?

Hi @Foodscary Try rebooting your router by removing the power cable for 30 sec then reconnect to reboot, then reboot your main SKYQ box by turning the power off at the socket for 30 sec then turn back on, then do the same with the Mini box?

@Foodscary Have you tried using voice control to bring the app up?

Hi it says this app isn't currently available but works on my sky a box

@Foodscary is the software version on the Mini box the same as the version on the main SKYQ box?

It's working.now thanks I noticed quite a few other apps weren't working eg Spotify. Maybe it needed many hours to work and update. Thank you so much for your help.

I found this was not working on my SKQ even when a new Box was installed, and have mini boxes. However, then seen this article

And "thought out of the box". Refreshed your Main Box and turn off, then refresh your Mini boxes the same way. You will see lots of new apps and have latest version. It is just a case of typing in your details each time you want access on your TV, on a different
