Paramount+ not loading on mini box

SkyQ- paramount+ not loading on mini box. Paramount+ working fine on main box but not mini. I just have the blue logo but it does not move past this. I have reset the box. i have updated software. i did have a new main box installed a few weeks back not sure if it's related. any ideas

Hi @megan121 

No guarantees but they need to on the same Software version.

  1. Go to Settings, then System Info and highlight Software version.
  2. Choose Setup and then select Software download.
  3. Your box will start to download the latest software. This can take up to 10 minutes.
  4. To check the status of the software download, go to Settings, then System info and highlight Software version.
  5. When it says "Software update successful" press the Standby button on your remote.
  6. When your box restarts, follow the on screen messages. You'll then be on the latest software version.

Hi @megan121 

Make sure that the Software version on the main Q box is the same as the mini.

Then First try rebooting the main Q box and then when this is completely back up and running reboot the mini.
To reboot press Standby on your Sky Q remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your Sky Q remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the Q box (Amber led)

note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.

Reboot the mini as above.

Hi @megan121 

It's the first four digits that's important Q220...... for example.

There is currently a new version being released but not everyone has it yet and it's going out in batches.

First thing to do is a Software Update to make sure the box is on the latest Software.
Home - settings - System info - Highlght Software version and then select Setup and then select Update this box with latest Software.

The Mini box (which is the one not loading Paramount+) is Q220 the main box is Q200 (but paramount is working on this one. Trying to update the main box which has been software update in progress for the last 20mins. i'm not sure it's working. you think if they both update to the same version paramount will work?

I can't believe this it HAS worked. This was super helpful. Really appreciate your support i wouldn't have been able to work any of that out. Both boxes needed software updates and rebooting. All working fine now Thankyou @oldfella

I'm having the same problem, I've done the software update but still can't get the Paramount + app to load on the Sky Q mini box.
