Paramount+ error code MYSKY_2008

I keep receiving the error code MYSKY_2008 error when I try to download paramount + anyone else seeing this or know how to fix it?

I received the following advice direct from Paramount+ help line, I tried this and it worked ! Although I had to reset all my other apps and resign in to them all so try this but give yourself an hour to re-log into all your apps including You Tube. I also had to reset my internet connection to my TV as part of this but fingers crossed the Apps all work now so good luck and let me know if it does help you.

 

Thank you for contacting Paramount+.  If you're having problems accessing the Paramount+ app, or playing content once in the app on your Sky Q device, please try rebooting it following these steps to see if that helps at all:

1. Press Standby on your Sky Q remote, then switch off or unplug at the mains.
2. Check there's no lights on the front panel of your Sky Q box and all cables are securely connected and undamaged. If your cables are damaged, you will need to contact Sky.
3. Plug in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
4. Wait for the on-screen instructions to disappear then press Home on your Sky Q remote.

Please note that some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.

Getting same error, was told to wait 7 days. Seems there are many users with this same issue

Thanks for the reply I am talking to Paramount but doubt they will be able to help in the end. I received an email from Sky reminding me of the access to Paramount + and the saving I obviously can't get as none of us can access the App.

I have the same problem, and have tried all of the suggestions including updating the software which I completed. Did not work. Contacted Sky help, 2 hours later still no go with 2 staff dropping off due to end of shift, and going through the whole lot again each time. There is nothing wrong with my WiFi, and everything else works fine. Told to go to Sky.com/paramountplus-activate, and log in with my skyid, which I did, but was told I was too early and try later, the same as on the TV message. I was simply trying to create a paramountplus userid, but cannot do that, it simply wont let me with the same try later message. Frustrated is not the word for this, 3 hours and still locked out and no help, and dare not ask for a person to speak to. 154 euro per month, and the crapiest service I have ever encountered. There is onviously something seriously wrong with this app, so please advise your servicre staff about it, and please tell me how to fix this issue.

having mulitpul sky accounts can cause this problem you

have to call sky
