Paramount and Netflix not playing since SkyQ went down

So SkyQ went down last week, I'm now having to log into every app on the SkyQ box again but then it's not loading videos. So the Disney+ app, Netflix and Paramount will not play anything. It says settings will not allow it or something along those lines. I've restarted the box and internet and also refreshed all apps to clear the cache and it's not working. So annoying! Can anyone suggest what to do? Paying a fortune for Sky subscriptions and can't get anything to work.

I'm at work now - I can't remember the exact error message for Netflix and Disney plus but paramount is error code 3304.

This is quite a common problem.

See you have tried a restart and apps refresh already.

Further things to try, even if you have done them.

Repowering of your Sky Q box, leaving off power for a few minutes.

Do a Sky Q software upgrade (it may not do the upgrade if you are on the current level, but it does a small cache clean)

  1. Go to Settings, then System Info and highlight Software version.
  2. Choose Setup and then select Software download.
  3. Your box will start to download the latest software. This can take up to 10 minutes.
  4. To check the status of the software download, go to Settings, then System info and highlight Software version.
  5. When it says "Software update successful" press the Standby button on your remote.
  6. Your box may restart. If not do a power restart yourself.

If above does not work, try

Power off all your Sky Q boxes.

Power off your broadband router and leave off for at least half hour ( for most ISPs, including Sky, this refreshes your WAN IP address).

Once you have repowered your router, then start up the Sky Q boxes.
Leave the Sky Q boxes for at least five minutes, so they do all their connections and then try your apps again.
