Paramount+ Sign Up Issues (Sky Q)

Good Morning.

So, further to my recent frustration over not being able to get the Paramount+ app to work properly, there has been some recent activity. So just to recap-

 

Tried to pair SkyQ/Paramount+ accounts and sign up, as I have Sky Cinema, using the QR code, constantly get a "Looks Like You Are Trying To Access This Page Too Quickly" screen.

Use website attempt, same screen.

Did system update, same screen.

Tried Incognito, same screen.

 

I have spoken to some very helpful people at Sky, all across 3 separate departments, all on many occasions. We have even tried removing Sky Cinema from my account for 24 hrs to "clear the decks" as it were to then start the process again...........same screen.

 

Sky suggested that I tried just signing in to Paramount+ obviously using my Sky details, as an account must already exist as I had previously watched it on my Sky+ box. I queried this many times as I'd never actually signed up to anything to do with Paramount+ previously, but was assured that it would have been done automatically?!?!. Just got "Incorrect Email or Password.

 

They then suggested doing the "Forgotten Password bit, to which I never received a link email to reset my password, which further reaffirmed my "no account should exist" query. 

 

I was then told to contact Paramount+ directly, which I did, TWICE, using their extremely irritating "Enquiry Form". First they just sent me details of how to sign up, then after re wording my enquiry, was told that my email address, the ONLY email address I've ever used with Sky isn't recognised by them, therefore, no account is in existence. 

 

I've been at this for over a week now, trying every way possible, every day, with advice from Sky themselves or troubleshooting myself, and am getting absolutely nowhere. No matter what I do are which way I try, all I ever get is the "Looks Like You're Trying To Access This Page Too Early" screen. 

 

I wonder why people obtain streams illegally!!

I am having exactly the same problem how did you get it sorted please

I didn't!! Completely gave up in the end after re contacting Paramount+ to receive as a response, "What is SkyQ, is it a streaming service"!!!!

 

Went the same way as the "6 Months Free Apple Tv "OFFER"" Tried 3 weeks with that one, being lead around the garden path by both Sky and Apple, and like the Paramount debacle each one blamed the other. It's Sky who are promoting these offers therefore the buck stops with them and them alone!

 

It's also very clear that mine are not isolated technical issues with the amount of other customers having the same problem. I was criticised with my first ever post about this as I used the term "It's A Con", with multiple people regaling how "Theirs worked first time"..........well bully for you........a hell of a lot of others didn't, and still won't!!

 

IT IS A CON! Clearly making these offers only available to a certain percentage of It's customers, and after speaking in depth with more members of their customer service team than I care to mention, who to be fair were all very professional and polite about it, the general consensus with them is that Sky know all about the issues, and have zero intention of fixing them.

 

Sky used to advertise, "Sky, Believe In Better". Well trust me, us through the nose paying customers constantly wish they were!!!!!
