Update 3rd Feb

 

Theres been no update to the CRF raised and still all the same error messages: oops there's been a problem, your account does not have an active subscription, £3 payment outstanding etc etc 

Spoke to ANOTHER agent whop seemed (slightly) aware of the issue. they put me through to cancellation team who removed and re added my email address and removed sky cinema - with the thinking it would remove paramount + and start again. they are calling me back at 7pm on 4 Feb,  As of now- we don't have sky cinema at all- same issue with paramount plus - plus they've added UDH whih I didn';t want.  Will report back tomrorow...... if at first you don't succeed,.,,
Oh and no comms or messages from SKY at all- no surprise there really,

trouble is most of us can't pay or get past that marketplace subscription (they can't take a payment over the phone and I can't upgrade or downgrade online)- still going down the CRF/help desk route- update awaited 4 th Feb :). Not sure how I'm still sane...

Unsure if you've tried this, but I managed to fix mine by going to the Sky app - TV - Manage - App Subscriptions - then activating the paramount and Discovery Apps as for some reason they had been disabled. 
I had to change my email address for paramount for some reason, but it has finally fixed it, I don't know if this will help you at all but it worked for me.

Sky movies has been removed 3rd Feb as a solution- but  NOT re added,

They have  UHD added at extra cost which I did not want or ask for

No call back promised on 4th feb

 

I did raise a complaint form which was amazingly answered within 24 hours-  with no real update - unfortunately they say at the end: 

 
We have provided a resolution regarding your complaint and will be closing it for now.
(Twice!)
 
So have gone back again asking for a resolution otherwise we will cancel the account. Ridiculous
Anyone else still struggling?

Sky marketplace/ paramount+ payment/viewing issue

Good morning, 
 
I am a sky Q customer, I upgraded from the free basic paramount+ option to premium in September 2025, via sky marketplace, that was fine it all worked.
Then early in January, I realised that for reasons unknown the £6/ month paramount+ premium payment had not been taken.
I eventually got past the sky chat bot and was able to speak to someone who had no idea what I was taking about, I got transferred several times then finally found someone who knew how to take an outstanding payment for sky marketplace and paid what I owed. I also cancelled the premium subscription as I didn't want to get in trouble for not paying again and reverted back to the free option as part of sky cinema package. 
 
But I have not been able to watch paramount+ from about the 31st January.  I go to sky active/link my account, it says I have already done this, I go to sign in to the app on sky Q box, it first says you get paramount+ for free sign in using the email that's linked to my sky account, I do this then it says there is no active subscription then takes me to the none sky discounted subscription selection screen.
 
I spent nearly two hours the other day being transferred five or six times from person to person who couldn't help, I was offered a call back the next day (yesterday 05/02) between 13:00 - 14:00 they called at 14:25 and I was unable to take the call, I cannot spend another hour going through a chat bot, to be passed from one person to another who doesn't know either what marketplace is or how to help. 
 
On my products page of my sky under apps it says paramount+ premium ends on 1st Feb 2026 (pending cancellation)
Under that it says paramount+ basic (starting soon).
I have refreshed the apps, I have power cycled my sky Q box.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@Onetwothreeguy I have moved your post into a thread all about the same problem you are having. Might be worth while reading some of the other post in the thread to see what others have done

Yep same just as a lot of us. The biggest issue is sky not taking ownership. Some users are able to resolve by downgrading /then re registering. Some like me cannot do that. I have raised a complaint formally through 'contact us/make a  complaint'  and got a reply - albeit no resolution - in 12 hours. Now raised another fornal

complaint as have lost sky cinema and been charged for UHD without permission. Keep

fighting! It's RIDICULOUS how badly this has been handled

Just a quick update on my side, I didn't fancy going round in circles with sky customer service today, so I contacted paramount+ help via email, they did the usual follow these steps to trouble shoot, nothing worked, they then said they will contact sky and try to resolve the issue with them, so I guess they might be fed up with people contacting them about this issue.

Resolved? Not really. 
I contacted the values team today. Said i had raised  a complaint and needed sky cinema back and a discount. I got money off my channels and some upgrades. No paramount plus access yet so have given up. VERY helpful fella said it's stlll a major incident with 7 different /scenarios/issues hence the delay in resolution. My advice? Give up waiting for paramount plus and get some discounts. I'm getting it reduced on a trial direct with paramount so will wait and see. Said the BIGGEST issue was a lack of communication and updates from sky.

My Dad had the same issue with Paramount coming up in German. We rang Sky twice to no avail. We also contacted Paramount who said it was a Sky issue. Very frustrating as you can imagine. 

My Dad just happen to mention to my husband that it didn't seem as if the sky box was updating so hubby did a hard reboot of the sky box (he found out on a google search what to do). While the box is switched on disconnect it by pulling out the power lead. Leave it like this for 2 to 3 minutes then plug it back in. It will take a little while for the sky box to restart. This worked for my Dad's sky box and now the Paramount app works as it should.

I have exactly the same issue and nobody at Paramount or Sky can help. They either say call the other company or just give me stock answers. Has yours sorted itself out on the renewal date?

I got sent a new sky q box and still not working- it has nothing to do with my box its paramount! My paramount is active with sky , on paramount it's expired 

 

think it's to do with the upgrade
