Paramount+ 4K query

  I have Sky Q and a premium account with Paramount+. If I watch P+ via my Sky Q box, do I still get a UHD picture as I would if I used the P+ app available on my TV?

Not sure, but I would always recommend using the TV's native App.  (It will almost certainly be better quality and not the forced refresh rate the Q imposes)

Yes, currently watching MobLand in 4K HDR, but as @PandJ2020 points out, using a native app such as the one in your TV will very likely be  a better picture experience and may even give you the Dolby Vision you are also paying for.

  @stereohaven  @PandJ2020  Thanks for the replies. I do know about using the TV apps for a better PQ, rather than via the Sky box, I've often mentioned it on here. What's happened is that P+ has been playing up on the TV app, not loading content. I then tried it via the Sky box & it worked okay.

  To follow up on this, if I can get 4K content to play on P+ via the Sky Q box, why isn't 4K content available on BBC iPlayer via the Sky Q box?

I am guessing you have a V2 box (32B1xxxx) - we have never (to my knowledge)  found out why the BBC Iplayer version the BBC  supplies for this box does not allow  UHD

I believe it depends on the exact hardware version of the Q box.  Someone will confirm with precise model numbers I'm sure.  (Or search in the forum)

  BBC seems to be very picky about who gets their iPlayer & what formats can be used. I have purchased a brand new 2025 Samsung 4K TV this week & the Player isn't included. After doing some searching around about this, it seems to be not uncommon.
