Over recording

I am having a problem at the moment downloading a full series of something on my sky q 2tb. Mine is tending to over record the program then it just hangs on recording the same episode some times all night. Recording percentage is at 118% til I cancel the recording. This is only just started happening recently anyone have any ideas how to fix without wiping the hard drive. Do I need a new sky q box ??  Always seems to happen in the middle of a series and cannot download that episode no matter how many times I try.

I had that with just the one episode a few weeks back. Just cancel and delete the recording and try again.

Yeah that doesn't work for me just does exactly the same on the same episode

Once you've stopped the stuck download make sure you delete it from the Deleted Section of Manage.
