On icons on menu

When I go into the home page the square i click on is just a blue box , so if i click on Tv guide it turns blue , if i click on net a app such as nexflicks or bbc ipayer it goes to a blue square its very annoying how can i stop this happening please

@DebbieJ40 Have you tried rebooting your main Q box ie
putting your box into Standby then switching it off at the wall for 30 seconds
switch it back on then follow the on screen instructions
