Hi there,
I have an old Sky Q 2Tb box which is pre HDR (I think it is the very first edition). Is it possible to upgrade this box? Does Sky offer any free upgrades - as it is getting very old and I am having issues that mean I have to reboot it fairly frequently.
Many thanks,
Jon

There's likely to be an admin charge of around £100. Also, it's likely to be 1Tb box.

@Chodley maybe not Skys policy used to be to swap boxes like for like if they were faulty so if non HDR then a non HDR bax would be supplied if aHDR box the a HDR box would be supplied either a V2 or V3 whether this is still the case I don't know but this was to make it fair for all
The only time a non HDR box was replaced with aHDR box was if the engineer that came to do the swap had no non HDR boxes on their van.
With doorstep swaps they may get any box as I don't think Sky know which boxes are being sent out 😂
