Obtaining a new voice activation remote

Three times now I have contacted sky because our sky Q voice remote does not work. Each time I go through the rebooting process which does not work and I am told I will be sent a new remote. I now have a wonderful collection of remotes, none of which have the voice control button. Please tell me what I have to do to get the proper remote? Does nobody at sky understand the difference?

hi @Nikki19 

 

Are you able to post an image of your remote.

 

The only remotes without a voice control button were only issued with Mini boxes for the first couple of years and SKY have not issued them since.

 

There are a few versions of remotes with voice buttons - older ones with a small button on the top right hand side. The latest ones with a blue button on the front.

 

To use voice control they must, however, be paired to the box .

 

Is it just possible that you have a voice control remote that is just not correctly paired ?
