No slung signal being picked up.

New lg to. I have the lg channels but cannot get sky. Keeps coming back to lg channels. 
the Hindi plug is firmly in. 
I have checked have good signal, internet, and products have no faults. What am I doing wrong.

@Losingthewill1 if you have plugged the HDMI cable from the Q box into a HDMI socket on the back of your new TV you will need to find the source button on your TV remote and change the input to the corresponding H|DMI socket thet your Q box is plugged into
