Re: No satellite for tv
@EileenHickey If you have a No Satellite Signal issue and Sky Q then your Sky Q box will stop functioning as there will be no Keep Alive signal.
Did you report this to Sky at all?

As you have now posted again in the Sky Q board and mention a Sky engineer attending I have moved everything to that thread/board.
I'm not sure if you realise that you haven’t contacted Sky by posting on here. This is a customer ▶️ customer discussion forum where we try to help other customers. We therefore have no idea why there is a delay.
What did the engineer tell you? What have Sky said when you have spoken to them?
Billing continues through a fault but once it has been fixed contact Sky and ask if they will apply a credit to your Sky account for the time you've been without service.

@EileenHickey Did you have your own dish or are you on a communal system?

Re: No satellite for tv
Sorry, why didn't the Sky engineer, on discovering the lack of dish, install a replacement?
As an aside, I have to say I'm curious how, on getting a "no satellite signal" message, doing a cursory eyeball check for the physical presence of an actual dish wasn't fairly high on your list of diagnostic steps...
Both of these make a lot more sense if it's a communal dish/service in an apartment block.
