No operation performed for a long time

Why do I get this message along the top of my screen....There was no operation performed for a long time, shut down? Then I get three options...yes/no/disable but my remote doesn't respond to any choices....and yes, I have disabed eco/standby mode. It's so annoying that I end up switching off and starting again, any advice appreciated thanks

hi @Janis+rice

this will be your TV & is not your SKY box.

This often happens because when you use a SKY box, you are interacting less with the TV itself.

Often just using the volume up/down buttons will dismiss the message - if not you will need to use the TV's own remote

You may be able to permanently adjust this behaviour by accessing the television settings using the TV remote.  As @nigea99 indicates, it's not the Q box generating the message, and the Q remote won't be able to modify it.
