No contact from sky, and mini box not working "no Signal Detected"

I've a mini box that isn't working. It starts to work after being switched of overnight, and then fails after about an hour. The person on the initial phone call about 4 to 5 days ago said he could see there was an issue with the mini box and we needed a new one; however, there was an issue with their systems at the time, apparently, and they gave me a reference number. I've waited over an hour on the phone tonight, and nobody has answered.

The service we have received has been appalling, well, no service. If we ran our businesses like this, we wouldn't have any. Talk about an Openreach & SKY monopoly, shocking.

Can anybody help resolve this situation, please?

You need to contact Sky again and potentially arrange a swap for the faulty mini box. 

If you do end up needing a new box it'll probably be via a 'doorstep box swap' whereby a courier company (usually DPD in the UK) deliver a new box and take your pre-disconnected faulty box away.
