No connection

Had a system update, no freezing and went to step 2. Was prompted on the TV to press the home button, and nothing is happening. Restarted the box, even re did the update and again nothing happened. Manage to get it back but all I got was the introduction video for sky and no way of exiting via the remote and now nothing is working, and it has nothing to do with the broadband, and everything is brand new.

Hi,

 

If the remote isn't responding, try pressing and holding 7+9 until it flashes 4 times which will fully reset the remote, then make sure there is a line of sight between the sky q box and the remote and hold 1+3, you should see another menu about controling your tv, you can either do this or skip, then your remote should now be re paired with the q box
