No connection on sky booster. WiFi connection ok so can't get tv through minibox

Hi @Denise1717- 

Assume your Q booster is located approximately midway between your main Q box and the mini?

If on Sky Broadband it can be located between mini and router if the router is nearer to the min than the main Q box.

First check that the booster is correctly connected to you main Q box or Sky Router if nearer.

 

  1. With the booster power and wireless lights on green
  2. Hold the WPS button on your booster for 3 seconds until it flashes amber. Then hold the WPS button on the front of your main Q box (or Sky router if nearer) for 3 seconds until it flashes amber - You'll need to do it within 2 minutes.
  3. After a few minutes, the connected light should turn green. You're booster is then set up.

Then carry out a a Network Reset on the mini.
Network Reset found in mini Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to WPS with main Q box.
You will be asked to press the WPS button on the Q booster (not the mini as the Network reset will start the mini WPS automatically).
