Sky Q booster failed - how can I get a replacement.

My Sky Q booster seems to have packed up (the type shown in the picture so there's no confusion) There are no lights showing on the front, power, connected, or wireless. It's seems totally dead. My real question is how can I get a replacement, the virtual assistant is useless, I've tried ringing the helpline number but can't seem to find a human to speak to.  As things stand the mini hub isn't working and the main Sky Q box isn't getting a reliable Wi-Fi connection. Can any one help on here, thanks?

Re: Sky Q booster failed - how can I get a replacement.

As an update to the above, I did finally manage to speak to an agent on the helpline number. There was some difficulty in understanding which was the equipment that had failed and needed replacement with the reusult that I now have to wait for an engineers visit, the first suitable date being in August.

if I could get a replacement booster posted out I can easily set it up, without having to wait over a month for the engineer. Is it possible for this post to be escalated to a Sky employee so I can explore this option ?

Re: Sky Q booster failed - how can I get a replacement.

Hi

I have the exact same problem. My booster failed which I need to get a reliable signal to the other room to my MiniQ box.  The original Sky TV engineer set it up so I thought it would be straightforward to get a replacement.  After speaking on the phone to 2 agents, it appears Sky wont help me as I'm not a broadband customer (I never have been).  They've advised I speak with my comminications provider instead and have comepletely dodged the responsibility of getting my tv signal fixed. If anyone knows of a solution to this I'd be grateful.
