No channels

All channels were working perfectly on the tv attached to the minibox. Then no channels and a message on the screen: "Please scan channels. No channels have been installed. Please scan channels via the TV menu."

All channels working perfectly on the TV attached to the main Sky Box.

That message is coming from your TV, not the mini.

 

Ensure the TV input is set to the correct HDMI source.  Hitting the Sky(or home) button on the remote may send a CEC signal to select it automatically.

That's a message from your TV, not from your Mini box. In the first instance, check that your TV is switched to the HDMI input that your Mini box is connected to. If that's ok, try restarting your Mini by switching off at the plug for a minute or so.

@Derek1983  That's a TV message anbd nithing to do with Sky Q or the minis, you'll need tio use the TV remote to select the correct HDMI input for the mini

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Hi @Derek1983 

Looks like you have switched your television set to the TV Tuner instead of the HDMI input connected to your Q box.

Yse your television set remote (or the Q remote) to cycle through the television setninputs
