No access to recordings or apps

I have scaffolding blocking my dish so no live tv due to no satellite signal. I now cannot access recordings, apps or on demand. The screen shows " To use this service, you need a satellite signal "

No, not until it receives a dish signal again.  You can however use the Sky Go app on a computer linked over HDMI cable to the television to receive live television and on-demand content: to do this you'll need to switch the Q box off at the mains connection so that Go doesn't try to receive a signal through it.

@Becky0508

The Sky Q box requires a periodic 'Keep alive' signal that is delivered via the satellite so if that isn’t received the box will close down until the satellite signal is restored.

The scaffolding could be up for a few weeks depending on the weather. Is there any way to get access to the recordings or apps etc or bring the box back to life.
