New sky Q remote won’t connect

Help please, I have received the new sky Q box and remote, the remote states it will not connect to my tv (same tv the old sky Q remote was connected to)

@Hannah192 Try resetting your remote.
Press the buttons 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then press 1 & 3 together until the led flashes twice then follow onscreen instructions to repair the remote.


I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer

Thank you, I have tried this but when I search for my tv to set it up it states my tv is not found
