New box

I had a box issued to replace a faulty box. The delivery driver said I was to swap the box. So we took the new box out and replaced with old. Handed to the driver. When we tried to put the box in there is new cables required for the box. All I took from the box was the new box as I thought it was a direct replacement. As I was under stress to get it back to the driver I never thought to see if there was other cables inside the box. 
can you send the new items to us please

Hi @Flyers35   I afraid that you are not talking to Shy here, this is a public community forum. All you can do is telephone Sky. They don't send out bits, only a complete new box. I hope that you took out your viewing card, if not you will have to ask for a new one at the same time.

Happened more than once. We do try to warn people on here they might get the v2 box which has the different, external power supply (or vice versa)

 

unfortunately we seem to be more proactive about this than either sky CS or DPD and there's no easy fix other than another box swap ...

which leaves two useless boxes in a warehouse where I do wonder if anyone knows they need to be exchanged.
