Someone is watching my sky q recordings

I have 1 main sky q box and 1 mini box , I live alone . I come to watch a recording and it says continue and it goes to (say) 41 mins , which is strange as I havnt watched any of the program/film , I'm finding at least one part watched recording every day , also a few recording that I havnt recorded .
can someone use a different mini box to connect to my main box without me knowing ??

If you view the channel live whilst recording then the 'start' point is updated.

no one is watching your recordings.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

@atherlon

This usually happens if you are channel hopping. The box will think you've watched the programme to that point. It's very common. Just press watch from start or use the voice control and say "go to start".

Re: Someone is watching my sky q recordings

Hi, I use to constantly get the same.  No one has switched channels during a recording, no one has accidently watched on another box. Last Feb 2024 After calling sky, I reset my main SkyQ box & it lasted 10mths before the issue started again. Did a full reset again last month Jan 2025 & fingers crossed at least another 10/12mths before full reset needed again. It's nothing to worry about , either ignore or do a full main box reset.
