New Sky Q contract after cancelling, but Sky Q not working
After cancelling my Sky contract on Sky Q, my Sky turned off on Monday. Then yesterday I rang Sky to check for any better deals & agreed to a new 24 month contract on Sky Q. However it has still not been turned on. On the Sky Q box it is saying that I need to upgrade my subscription to access - ie in home/recordings etc & on the Sky channels in TV guide, I can only access free to air channels from box
I had been under impression it would be switched back on straight after agreeing new contract on call yesterday morning. On My sky under my orders it says something about Sky Q will be switched on after engineer visit, but they have not mentioned any engineer visit in emails /messages & not sure why they can't switch it back on remotely. Should it still work with existing viewing card ?
I tried to call them yesterday evening but didn't get anywhere with person I spoke to who said he'd raise a ticket, but still not heard anything back.

Re: New Sky Q contract after cancelling, but Sky Q not working
This seems to be the exact thing that is happening to me, having contacted SKY numerous times, I am no further forward and am without TV services even though I am paying for them.

Re: New Sky Q contract after cancelling, but Sky Q not working
I did manage to get it resolved eventually yesterday after also contacting Sky numerous times. They said my contract was showing as pre-active. In the end to resolve they cancelled the new contract I agreed on Tuesday & immediately started a new contract the same as the one I had agreed & this seemed to work (he said the price is the same). Will keep an eye on bills to ensure they don't changre me for the days without Sky.

Re: New Sky Q contract after cancelling, but Sky Q not working
That is interesting to hear as they tried that with me and I am still in the same position. My tv is saying you don't have Sky Q and the app is saying your sky order is coming, together with the order saying an engineer visit is due, even though it was meant to be switched on remotely yesterday, and before that last Saturday. Who did you get through to to resolve this for you, as I have tried so many times and filled in 3 complaint forms?

Re: New Sky Q contract after cancelling, but Sky Q not working
I was passed between various technical people, none of whom were much help, must have called them about 3 or 4 times before it being sorted out. Yesterday my Broadband also went over to Sky, so I dialled the 150 customer service number on Sky Talk, it went to the indian call centre & someone there was able to sort it out with cancelling & restarting contract.
I had been getting the same as you on my orders about the Sky q & awaiting engineer visit.
