I have EE FTTP originally using the EE Superhub as a router connected to wireless access points. My Sky Q Main and Mini are connected via ethernet. All worked with no issues.
I recently looked at puchasing a different router so when I came to changing broadband providers all my IP address stayed the same - I run Home Assistant so use fixed IP addresses for some devices.
I purchased A Draytek Vigor 2927 to replace the EE Hub and take over the router part of the setup. This all worked fine except a new issue with the Mini box connection.
Randomly I would lose the picture, but kept the sound and got the blue screen saying connection issue. If I predded Home then back to the channel the picture would re-appear and carry on as normal. I performed complete network reset on all Sky boxes but the problem persisted.
I wanted to see if this was being caused by the Draytek router so switched back to the EE Hub and the issue disappeared.
Does anyopne have any advice on any settings/recommendations that I could try so I can use the Draytek router without the picture issues on the mini box. TBA
