I've just joined Sky and now have Netflix included in my contract. Do I need to cancel my existing Netflix contract or do Sky sort this with the change over of providers?

No, don't cancel Netflix. Once you've logged in to the Netflix app on your Q box with your existing Netflix account details, the billing will automatically switch over to Sky.
