Re: Netflix freezing

This is still happening. You don't seem to have a problem taking the direct debit each month or increasing your prices, so can we get it sorted? Also, why is the fast forward function on Netflix excruciatingly slow?

You are addressing other customers here and not Sky...  you'll need to contact them directly.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

Re: Netflix freezing

Ah gotcha, so this is like 'self-checkout' but with Sky. Letting other customer field problems rather than employees addressing them, cute. Thanks for letting me know, if I have a spare 45 minutes I'll try ringing them.

Does pressing FFWD multiple times not work? I haven't had any problems with netflix on sky boxes for a long time.

Re: Netflix freezing

If you mash the FF button repeatedly rather than holding it down it does speed up slightly but it's not like the 2x, 6x, etc. jumps in FF speed that you get on the Sky Q boxes (regular channels - not using other apps). There is no press and let go of the button to FF which doesn't bode well for wear on the remote probably. I think BBC iPlayer has three speed levels too, so I don't know why it can't be incorporated. I have a Glass, I miss the functionality like selecting the exact minute to skip to, of course you can use the voice control but it doesn't always pick up your voice well and it can take a few attempts. I don't know if it's something to do with the way Netflix wants to track viewership or suppress the functionality or something, perhaps that's a ridiculous notion, because if you're using a mobile device you can quickly 'scrub'(?) your finger along the progress bar and 3 seconds later you're where you want to be.

Hang on, this is the Glass version, not the Q version, that you're talking about?
