My TV is working, I can use smart apps on it. When I turn my sky Q box on, the screen just stays black. I've unplugged everything and started again but no luck. SKY said it could need a new HDMI, I've just changed to a new one and still nothing. The Sky Q box has a green light, remote turns it on and off, but nothing happens on the TV.......Any help?!

Have you tried a different HDMI input on the television?
You could also try rebooting the Television

Hi @Willo2
First make sure that the TV is switched on and is switched to the HDMI input to which the Q box is connected.
Then with the Q box switched on with green led illuminated
Press
Home 1 0 8 0 Home
on the Q box remote control.
This will change the Q box to standard resolution which will work for all TV’s.

Hi @Willo2
Have you tried rebooting your Q box?
To reboot press Standby on your Sky Q remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your Sky Q remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the Q box (Amber led)
note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.
