Have had built in cupboards in living room and Sky Q in drawer underneath. Tried to find on Amazon a Magic Eye that will work, but it seems that most work with old sky box but not with Sky Q. Don't want to leave the drawer open, can anyone help?

You definetly don't want to keep your Sky Q in a drawer - it will overheat & may even become a fire hazard! I'm pretty sure that Magic Eye does not work with Sky Q

A magic eye definitely won't work with Sky Q, as it relies on an RF connection to the Sky box. An infra red repeater with an infra red 'bug' that you can place close to the Q box's remote sensor would work, but a Bluetooth remote is much easier
