Hi I am having an issue with my sky mini box, it stays on standby constantly I have tried rebooting the main sky box and then rebooting the mini box the main is working fine but the mini just keeps doing the same thing and going to standby after I have waited for the screen to go blank and pressed the home button. I have folllowed instructions I have seen online. Any suggestions

Hi @Jordan3091
Try a Reset Settings in the mini box hidden menu.
To enter hidden menu press Home and navigate down to Settings but do not select Settings.
With Settings highlighted press 0 0 1 Select.
If you cannot switch the mini box on with the remote after the Reset press the Standby button (Amber led) on the front of the box.
To re pair the remote press 1 & 3 together on the remote and follow onscreen instructions to re pair.
Make sure that you are pointing the remote at the Q box when you press 1 & 3 together.

Hi the box doesn't ever get as far a letting me go to settings it literally turns on says press the home button when the screen goes blank then goes blank and doesn't change it just stays on standby

Hi @Jordan3091
Instead of pressing the home button on the remote have you tried switching it on by pressing the standby button on the front of the box (Amber led)?

Yes I've just followed your advice and it said software update part 1 of 2 and the referred me to a Sky.com/softwareupdate I have updated my main box now but mini is still not working
